In a ghastly incident, a woman walked up to the police station in a naked condition after her in-laws assaulted her. The incident was reported from Rajasthan's Churu. The woman was thrashed by her in-laws over a dispute, following which her clothes were tore by the family members.
After the assault, the woman walked up to the police station to get an FIR lodged against her in-laws.
She was in a naked condition, while the onlookers on the street even clicked pictures of her.
An FIR in the case has been lodged and the woman was kept under police protection till the probe completes.
Commenting on the incident, Sitaram Mahich, ASP Sujangarh said the woman arrived at the police station to get the case registered and the matter is being probed.
"Woman from Churu was beaten up by her in-laws and they even tore her clothes," the ASP said.
"She came to the police station in a naked state. She's under police protection and FIR has been registered. While on her way to the station, some people clicked her pictures, the matter being probed," he added.
