KTM 390 Duke pictures, specifications out

New Delhi, Nov 16: Austrian motorcycle maker KTM Sportmotorcycle AG will soon come out with KTM Duke 390 that is sure to amaze Indian sports bike enthusiasts with the combined thrill of technological superiority and good looks. Thanks to NieuwsMotor.NL, first shots of the motorcycle have surfaced. India TV Business takes a closer look at some of the specifications and images of the new Duke 390. The 390 Duke is powered by a 373.2cc water-cooled single cylinder engine that delivers 44PS of horsepower at 9,5000rpm and 35Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. Since the motorcycle weighs just 139kg, it translates into a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio of 316.5PS/tonne! Surely, that's lots of fun and power!The bike is likely to be priced along with the same lines just at Duke 200. However, the new motorcycle may be costlier by Rs 45-60,000 than the previous model. Thus, it may cost between Rs 1.8-2.1 lakh on-road price bracket.On the outside, the motorcycle looks identical to the 200. It is carrying the same frame, the 43mm upside-down forks up front to the 150-section tyre at the back.The new bike might inspire the next bigger generation Pulsar in the same way the Duke200 inspired the Pulsar 200NS. Some important changes include the bright trademark KTM orange paint for the gorgeous trellis frame and new paint scheme for the 390 Duke.
