Lakshmi Vilas Bank customers can access all services; no change in interest rates as of now: DBS
Business | November 30, 2020 14:35 ISTDBS Bank India on Monday said customers of Lakshmi Vilas Bank, which has now been merged with it, can continue to access all banking services, and interest rates on savings and fixed deposits are unchanged as of now. Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) has now been amalgamated with DBS Bank India Ltd (DBIL), the wholly-owned subsidiary of DBS Group Holdings Ltd, DBS Bank India said in a statement.

Business | November 19, 2020 12:20 ISTShares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank slumped further and fell 20 per cent to hit its lowest permissible trading limit in early trade on Thursday after the government placed the lender under a one-month moratorium and superseded its board. The shares plunged 19.76 per cent on BSE to hit its lower circuit limit of Rs 9.95. Similarly, on NSE the scrip hit a lower circuit of Rs 10, diving 19.68 per cent.
