The minimum and maximum temperatures for the day are likely to hover around 15 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Heavy rain lashed parts of the national capital on August 31. "Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain over Delhi and adjoining areas," predicted India Meteorological Department. Temperature in Delhi will hover between 23 and 33 degree Celsius.
The IMD has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of very light rain on Monday.

The air quality index in the national capital stood at 463 at 4 pm, with Dwarka Sector 8 being the most-polluted area with an AQI of 495. Most of the air quality monitoring stations recorded an AQI above 450.
