It was during Pakistan tour of New Zealand in December 2010; Pakistan seemingly has a proclivity for these late stands. This one, like the ninth-wicket stand between Tanvir and Ajmal, was in a losing cause. This time, however, it was involved in setting a total, carrying the Pakistanis from 112-9 to 143-9 in the last two overs. New Zealand ended up victorious by five wickets.
