GST Council meet: Mobile phone prices to go up as GST increases to 18%
Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman informed that it was decided in the GST Council meet to raise the GST rate on mobile phones and specific parts, presently attracting 12% GST, to be taxed at 18%.
