Amid the lockdown orders in view of the coronavirus pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday said the state authorities will not allow any gatherings of people till June 30, 2020. Giving out the orders, the Yogi Adityanath government said people should not be allowed to gather at one place, till the specified date. In such cases, the state authorities will not allow people to organise wedding events, birthday parties, or any other such events that host several people at one place, even if the lockdown is lifted by the Central government.

According to the details, new guidelines have been issued by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for Team-11. With this, locals in Uttar Pradesh will not be able to plan any events housing people.

Further decisions on the relaxation of lockdown norms will be taken as per the situation, Yogi Adityanath has said.

Regarding the relaxation in the guidelines of lockdown, District Magistrate of Lucknow Abhishek Prakash said there will be changes.  The system which has been followed so far will continue to be followed, Prakash said.

It is being believed that the new orders will also not allow schools to reopen till June 30. At many places, there were reports of schools planning to reopen at an earlier date, to make up for the loss of academics. However, there was no official confirmation on the reopening of schools.

The new guidelines come even as the Central government on Saturday allowed some shops outside city limits to remain open, but with the practice of social distancing norms.
