Muzaffarnagar violence; 41,000 people homeless in 38 refugee camps

Muzaffarnagar, UP: The state administration has admitted that there are still 41,000 people who are homeless and staying in 38 refugee camps in the aftermath of the communal violence that swept the region on Saturday


 

Shamsuddin, the chairman of the Kaserva residents cooperative committee said, their village with a population of over 20,000 had only 5 to 10  per cent Hindus, but the Muslims ensured that none of the Hindu families flee.
