Rajasthan: Ahead of the elections, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claimed there are no differences between him and his junior Sachin Pilot and added both will contest the upcoming Assembly polls together.
While speaking to media persons after meeting Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi, Gehlot asserted there are "small differences" among leaders in every party and in every state but he will contest the upcoming elections together.
"There are no differences. Small differences keep happening in our party, it happens with all parties in every state. But we'll contest elections together, win and form Government," he said.
Gehlot says he will respect decisions of the High Command
After holding a crucial meeting with Kharge, the Chief Minister said he would respect the decisions of the High Command. Further, he asserted this always remains the tradition in the party and added the practice will continue.
"We contest elections together, win them together and then we accept the decisions of the High Command. This has been the tradition and this will continue to be the tradition," he added.
It is worth mentioning the state is about to hold its next elections this year. Before the polls, CM Gehlot made several attempts to boost the image of the party and announced several lucrative policies. Earlier on Friday, he announced the formation of 19 new districts, months before the polls.
