Shiv Sena worried over treatment to old allies if Modi becomes PM

Mumbai: Even before Modi actually wins 2014 elections, NDA constituents have started debating their roles and importance in the new government. Older allies like Shiv Sena are worried that they may not get plum ministries

Talking about LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan, Raut says that Paswan may insist for Railway portfolio.

Raut goes on to say that in order to win over new allies who can help form the new government, older allies may not be given the importance that they deserve.

After expressing his worries about possible bargaining by the new entrants, Raut comes to the question of Advani's future. He opines that initially Advani may be made the chairperson of NDA and once Pranab Mukherhee's term expires as President, Advani may be the new person in ‘Rashtrapati Bhawan'.
