New Delhi: The Congress party will announce its first list of 200 candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections before February 10, sources said.
The decision regarding all the sitting Congress MPs in Lok Sabha will be taken after the Parliament session in February is over.
Parliament is meeting from February 5 to pass vote-on-account, as a regular budget will be prepared only after a new government assumes power at the Centre in May.
Meanwhile, Congress state election committees have begun meeting from today, with the Himachal Pradesh state committee authorising the party high command to decide on the candidates for LS polls.
