Delhi assembly polls 2013: Dikshit trashes BJP allegations of corruption

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Tuesday dismissed the allegations of corruption against her party by the BJP, saying they are "baseless" and would be "countered" politically."The allegations levelled by BJP are absolutely baseless.

However, cabinet ministers A.K. Walia and Kiran Walia were not present at the conference.



Over 11.5 million voters will cast their ballots in 70 constituencies in Delhi.

The main battle will be between the ruling Congress and the BJP which has been out of power for the past 15 years.The contest has been further enlivened this time with the entry of the Aam Adami Party which has gained popularity in a short span of time and has been vociferously campaigning against both the BJP and the Congress.
