New Delhi: The Scottish castle Mingary Castle near Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula was constructed in 13th century. The castle fell into ruin about 600 years after its construction.It is roughly hexagonal in shape with



The Castle Trust, claims the room hasn't been touched since the early 16th century, when the walls were filled in to protect against the newly-invented weapon of the era - the cannon.

The remains of the castle are protected as a category A listed building and as a scheduled monument.
