New Delhi: In a victory of sorts, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday evening called off his two-day-long sit-in protest after the Centre ordered two Delhi policemen to proceed on leave pending completion of




Eight AAP supporters were injured and sent to hospital, said AAP leader Sanjay Singh.

There were scuffles throughout the day between AAP supporters and Delhi Police. At least 30 people, including 19 policemen, were injured , eyewitnesses said.

Over 100 AAP protesters Tuesday forcefully entered Rafi Marg that leads to the protest site after pushing through barricades, resulting in a clash with the police.

Police tried to stop the advancing AAP volunteers who did not pay heed, resulting in a scuffle.
