Alert GRP officer saves woman from being crushed by train in UP's Firozabad | Watch

A woman was seen crossing the railway tracks when the alert cop helped her to safety.

A major accident was averted on Friday when a constable of the Government Railway Police (GRP) saved a woman in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad from being crushed by a train. 

A viral video shows a woman crossing the railway tracks at Firozabad Railway Station. Unaware of the speeding train, the woman walks on the tracks. She tries to get on the platform as the train nears but is seen unable to lift herself off the tracks. This is when a brave GRP official steps in and pulls the woman on the platform. 

"We spotted a woman crossing the railway line as a train neared. While I ran from one end, another railway official ran from the other. He was able to get to her just in time. She was saved," GRP Constable, Shivlal Meena said. 

Alert RPF cop saves man from falling on train tracks in Mumbai

An alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved the life of a passenger who fell on the platform while boarding a moving local train in Mumbai's Wadala railway station. 

A video clip shared by the Central Railway on its official Twitter handle, shows the passenger falling off a moving train. The moment the passenger falls off the platform, an RPF constable is seen getting into action mode. He drags the man to safety. The RPF's brave act was recorded in the railway station's CCTV camera. 

In the caption, Central Railway wrote, “Timely act of RPF constable Netrapal Singh saved the life of a passenger who slipped and fell down while boarding the running local train at Wadala station.”
