​Pakistan on Tuesday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.

Pakistan on Tuesday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. 

At 4 pm, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation. It started firing with small arms, followed by mortars. The Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.

Earlier today, two militants were killed in a gunfight with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district. The gun battle took place in the forests of Kokernag as the security forces were flushing out the hiding militants. Authorities suspended mobile Internet facility in the district as a precautionary measure.
