Actor Ritesh deshmukh, who is father of two sons, wished his fans through a sweet Instagram post, and wrote in his mother tongue, Marathi, Happy New Year!.’’ 

Whereas, the Dhak-Dhak girl, Madhuri dixit, also posted a beautiful picture on her Instagram account. In the picture she was seen wearing a purple colour sari in traditional Maharashtra style, along with gold accessories. 

Madhuri captioned the picture as, ‘’ Sarwanna Gudhipadwyachya ani Nawin varshachya hardik shubhecha. Happy Gudi Padwa!’’

Actress Sonali Bendre too wished her fans on this auspicious occasion of Navratra and wrote, ‘’Absolutely love this adorably tiny Gudi I received today! Traditionally, #GudiPadwa is the Maharashtrian New Year, and the Gudi is believed to ward off evil and invite prosperity and good luck into the house. Wishing everyone a very happy Gudi Padwa!’’

In the picture, the actress was seen wearing a beautiful green salwar-suit and flaunted a traditional bindi on her forehead in Maharashtra style. 

The ‘Sanam Re’ actress, Urvashi Rautela also expressed her best wishes on the festival of Navratra in her own style by posting a message on her Instagram. The actress wrote, ‘’ Lord Brahma created the universe and the Satyayug began,it marks the commencement of the New Year #Gudipadwa.
