Akshay Kumar has once again proved that age is just a number, and no one can do action scenes like he can. In the film, the actor was required to do a number of action scenes which were being coordinated by stunt coordinator Lawrence Woodward of the Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) fame. Not just the fans but Akshay Kumar himself was very excited for the film. In an interview earlier, the actor claimed, “I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride.”

The makers have been treating the fans with posters and teasers of the film for a while and they all have become the talk of the town. Sharing the new poster on Wednesday, Akshay Kumar wrote, ‘’The untold story of the bravest battle ever fought begins to unravel TOMORROW! #KesariTrailerTomorrow #Kesari.’’

In an interview with Mid-day, director Anurag Singh revealed interesting details about everything that went behind the scenes on the sets of Kesari and said, "He (Lawrence Woodward of the Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)) did extensive homework on the warfare techniques brought in by the British. He knew how to handle the old guns that we had sourced for the film. He took a while to adjust to the Indian working model because this was his first Bollywood film.”

Talking about the research part, he said "We referred heavily to Gurinder Pal Singh Josan's book (The Epic Battle Of Saragaarhi). He researched the subject for 25 years and was able to locate the families of the 21 martyrs. Amarinder Singh's research on Saragahri and The Defence of the Samana Forts came in handy".
