Respect judiciary, but stand by comments on Memon hanging: Asaduddin Owaisi

Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, whose comments on the imminent hanging of 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts convict Yakub Memon have sparked a huge controversy, on Friday clarified he respected the judiciary but stood by his view.

"I respect and accept the Supreme Court verdict. I only raised the question that why the killers of Rajiv Gandhi and Beant Singh have not yet been hanged," he told reporters.
