Women Reservation Bill Passed in Rajya Sabha; one step closer to becoming law
The Women's Reservation Bill, to ensure 33 per cent quota i.e. one-third of seats in Lok Sabha and state assemblies, has been passed in Rajya Sabha, a day after it was cleared by Lok Sabha, marking a historic moment for the country.
