Surat Municipal corporation earning Rs 140 crore by purifying river Tapi
Silk City of India (Surat) is earning around Rs 140 crore by purifying the river Tapi. This is being earned by treating the water and selling it to various industries. About 115 million litres per day (MLD) water is treated and supplied to industries and industrial associations.
