A devastating collision between a car and a tractor-trolley caused the deaths of two children and two women, while three others were injured in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun district in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Citing Civil Lines SHO Gaurav Kumar Bishnoi, the car, driven by Pitamber, PTI reported that the car crashed into the tractor while returning from a wedding near the district's Dahemi village.
Pitamber's six-year-old son named Arnab lost his life in the accident. The deceased women have been identified as the 50-year-old Surajshree and the 25-year-old Shashi Yadav, while the other child was identified as Harsh, 10.
The bodies of the deceased persons have been sent for post-mortem examination and the injured persons were admitted to a district hospital for treatment.
