Major administrative rejig in Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Adityanath government shuffles six IAS officers

Earlier on September 1, nine IAS officers and District Magistrates were transferred by the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh.

Administrative rejig in Uttar Pradesh: In another administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including district magistrates of Prayagraj. New District Magistrates have been appointed in Prayagraj, Agra, Moradabad, Mathura, Hamirpur, and Mahoba. 

According to a government order issued on Saturday, Navneet Singh Chahal has been appointed as the new district magistrate of Prayagraj. Chahal previously served as the district magistrate of Agra. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Bhanu Chandra Goswami has been given the responsibility of DM of Agra. 

Noida's Additional Chief Executive Officer Manvendra Singh has been made DM Moradabad and Moradabad DM Shailendra Kumar Singh has been appointed as the DM of Mathura.

On the other hand, Additional Commissioner of  Sugar Industry & Cane Development Department, Rahul Pandey has been made district magistrate of Hamirpur. Greater Sharda Assistant Command Area Development Officer Mridul Chowdhary has been made DM of Mahoba.

Administrative rejig in Uttar Pradesh

Earlier on Friday, nine IAS-District Magistrates were transferred by the Yogi government in a major rejig. District Magistrates of Basti, Mirzapur, Lalitpur, Bijnor, Rampur, Etah have been transferred.

Major administrative reshuffle after June  

 In July, the UP  government transferred 14 IPS officers, including the Bareilly Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). As many as Superintendent of Police of 10 districts have also been transferred. Bareilly SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary has been made the Commandant of the Lucknow-based 32nd Battalion of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC). In place of Chaudhary, Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, who was the SP of Sitapur, has been made the SSP of Bareilly.

 

Earlier on June 10, the UP government had transferred many IAS officers. In the previous rejig, Firozabad District Magistrate Ravi Ranjan was removed and Gonda DM Ujjwal Kumar was appointed as the new District Magistrate.

Neha Sharma Director Urban Body was made the District Magistrate of Gonda. Rajesh Tyagi, special secretary, of higher education, was appointed DM of Amroha. Kanpur District Magistrate Visakh was given additional charge of Kanpur Development Authority.

Kanpur Development Authority VC Arvind Kumar Singh was made the DM of Balrampur. Arvind Kumar Singh was removed from the Kanpur Development Authority and made the DM of Balrampur.
