Vodafone revamps postpaid plans with more data and Amazon Prime subscription

Vodafone has revamped its RED 399 and 499 plan and now they will be known as RED Entertainment and RED Entertainment+.

Vodafone has revamped its RED 399 and 499 plan and now they will be known as RED Entertainment and RED Entertainment+.

The RED Entertainment plan will now offer 40 3G/4G data with unlimited local, national and national roaming call with data rollover up to 200 GB, one-year Vodafone Play subscription, and one-year Amazon Prime subscription.

While the RED Entertainment+ pack will now offer 75GB data with unlimited local, STD calls, unlimited roaming, one-year Vodafone Play subscription, and one-year Amazon Prime subscription. Subscribers will also get protection plan worth Rs 300 which will be completely free with this pack.

Vodafone will merge with Idea which will create the largest telecom operator in the country worth USD 23 billion with a 35 per cent market share. Earlier this month, 

Idea Cellular had announced that the telecom department has approved raising the foreign direct investment limit in the company to 100 per cent, putting its merger deal with Vodafone in the last leg of regulatory clearance. 

FDI approval is a major milestone in the merger process of Vodafone and Idea and follows other statutory approvals received from Sebi, NSE, BSE, CCI and NCLT Mumbai and NCLT Ahmedabad.
