Honor 8C, the mid-level smartphone with dual rear cameras launching on October 11

Honor 8C, the successor to the existing Honor 7C will be announced in China on 11th October. It is expected to come with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 636 SoC, dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Honor 8C, the successor to the existing Honor 7C will be announced in China on 11th October. The phone has been teased on Weibo, the Chinese micro-blogging platform and the Honor 8C specification were seen on TENAA as well, which is a Chinese certification website.

The Honor 8C is expected to come with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio along with a notch. Powering this phone would be the Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU, along with 4GB RAM+64GB storage that can be expanded to 256GB using expandable memory. 

It will be a Dual SIM phone and will run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.1. At the back, the Honor 8C camera would include a dual camera setup of 13MP sensor and a 2MP camera, with flash. On the front would be the 8MP camera. Other leaks suggest the phone to come with a rear fingerprint sensor and would house a 4000mAh battery.

In terms of colours, the Honor 8C is expected to come in Black, Blue, Purple and Gold colours. There is no confirmation on the Honor 8C price and will have to wait till the official launch takes place.
