Eugene takes another break to gear-up for Grand Slams

The Canadian glamour girl and World No.7, Eugenie Bouchard, went on a unique two day holiday to the Arctic to raise awareness on plight of polar bears.This has come just before Australian Open – Grand

She reached the semi-finals of both the Australian Open and French Open before making a dream-run to Wimbledon final. She was beaten 6-3, 6-0 by Petra Kvitova in the Wimbledon final last year.

This time, she will take on world no. 1 Serena Williams, world no. 16, Lucie Safarova and world no. 12 Flavia Pennetta at the Hopman Cup, 2015.

She will team up with Vasek Pospisil with their first assignment against Czech pair Lucie Safarova and Adam Pavsalek on Sunday at the Hopman's.

She's quite optimistic that the mixed-teams event will prepare her better for a strong beat-up at the Grand Slams.
