Top 10 highest paid footballers in ISL auction

New Delhi: The auction of 10 footballers was divided into two phases -- Pool A and Pool B -- with five players in each group. Chhetri was the star in Pool A of the auction,

5) Arata Izumi( ATK, Rs 68 Lakh ) : 

Japanese-born Indian midfielder Arata Izumi also went to Atletico for Rs.68 lakh. His base price was Rs.40 lakh.

6) Karanjit Singh (Chennaiyin FC, Rs 60 Lakhs): 

Goalkeeper Karanjit Singh, commanding a base price of Rs.60 lakh, was sold at his base price, picked up by Chennaiyin FC.

7) Seityasen Singh (NEUFC,Rs 56 Lakhs):

He plays for Royal Wahingdoh, was roped in by Bollywood star John Abraham-owned NorthEast United FC at a price of Rs.56 lakh. His starting price was Rs.23 lakh.

8) Robin Singh (Delhi Dynamos,51 Lakhs):

Bengaluru forward Robin Singh was bagged by Delhi Dynamos FC for Rs.51 lakh, Rs. 11 lakh more than his base price.

9) Jackichand Singh (FC Pune, Rs 45 Lakhs) :

Royal Wahingdoh's medio Jackichand Singh was lapped up by FC Pune City for Rs.45 lakh. The 23-year-old had a base price of Rs.20 lakh. The midfielder has five goals in 18 I-league appearances.

 

10) Anas Edathodika (Delhi Dynamos, Rs 41 Lakhs) :

Defender Anas Edathodika, 28, was bought by Dynamos for Rs.41 lakh. He featured for Pune FC in I-League last year. He has made 53 appearances for his club so far and had a base price of Rs.40 lakh.

Bengaluru left back Keegan Pereira bagged the highest amount in the draft with a price of Rs.32 lakhs and was roped in by Mumbai who also added 26-year-old Pratesh Shirodkar to their squad for Rs.9 lakh.

Midfielder Cavin Lobo, who turned up for Atletico last season will now feature for Kerala Blasters, who roped him in for Rs.20 lakh. Pune on the other hand signed midfielder Gurjinder Kumar for Rs.27 lakh.
