Former Arsenal playmaker Sami Nasri has left the Premier League to join Antalyaspor from Manchester City. The French midfielder switched sides as he wasn't a part of Pep Guardiola's plan. The midfield playmaker was not provided with many matches and was often kept as a substitute at most. Nasri was loaned to Sevilla last year in the summer transfer window.

With Guardiola still searching for new players, it was a certainty that Nasri would not be introduced in the starting eleven. Nasri scored 27 goals in the 176 matches he played with City after joining them in 2011 from Arsenal.

"Samir Nasri has left City to join Turkish side Antalyaspor on a permanent deal, subject to international clearance," said a statement on Man City's official website.

The 30-year-old played last season on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, helping them to finish fourth in the La Liga table.
