Commonwealth Games 2018: Saurav Ghosal-Dipika Pallikal settle for silver in mixed doubles squash

 India's Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal settled for a silver after going down against Australia's Donna Urquhart and Cameron Pilley in the summit clash of the mixed doubles squash competition at the 21st Commonwealth Games on Saturday.

Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal settled for a silver medal in the mixed doubles squash event of the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast on Saturday, becoming the first Indian pair to achieve the feat in the sporting extravaganza.

In a gruelling contest at the Oxenford Studios, the Indian pair lost the issue 0-2 (8-11, 10-11) against the local pair of Donna Urquhart and Cameron Pilley. 

The 31-minute contest saw a stiff fight between the two pairs, however, it was the Australians who proved to be better at the end.

Pallikal is also in contention to win a gold medal in women's doubles alongside Joshna Chinappa.
