New Delhi: Corey Anderson, the New Zealand all-rounder, created a world record on the first day of the new year when he smashed the fastest ODI hundred against West Indies in third ODI in Queenstown, breaking the record long held by Pakistan's Shahid Afridi Afridi scored a 37-ball hundred against Sri Lanka in 1996.Anderson took just 36 balls to complete his century. He scored unbeaten 131 off 47 balls which also include 14 sixes. Had he hit three more sixes he would have become the first batsman to clear the field maximum time.
