Colombo: Sri Lanka has included uncapped batsman Ashan Priyanjan and recalled opener Dimuth Karunaratne after an absence of two years in a 16-member squad for its first two matches of a one-day international series against New Zealand.
  


The 24-year-old Priyanjan has scored 1,594 runs in 60 first class limited-over matches at an average of 31, including a century and 11 half centuries.
   
Karunaratne played the last of his two one-day matches in 2011.
   
The Sri Lanka squad has seven specialist batsmen, three allrounders, three seam bowlers and three spinners.
   
Sri Lanka will host New Zealand for three one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games, starting with the first ODI on Nov. 10 in Hambantota.
