New Delhi: India and Pakistan are set to resume their cricket business with a bilateral Test series in December 2015, according to reports.

In recent years, UAE has been Pakistan's 'home' ground.Although any series between India and Pakistan are subject to the political climate, it is unlikely that India will travel to Pakistan to play. According to the ICC's Future Tours Programme draft, Pakistan will play four more full-length series against India over the next eight years.

ICC chief N Srinivasan told a news paper, “There has been a proposal to resume bilateral cricket ties between India and Pakistan. As I understand, there has been an agreement that the two teams will play each other."

BCCI has also confirmed the news. "We have set an eight-year plan and are working towards it," a source from the Indian cricket Board said.

Srinivasan also hinted towards the India-Pakistan series being played in UAE by mentioning the possiblity of an offshore venue for the matches.

"As part of the restructuring of the FTP, India have agreed to play Pakistan in off-shore venues and as I understand, the BCCI working committee has agreed to it," said Srinivasan.
