Eight arrested for black marketing Kotla Test tickets in Delhi

New Delhi, Mar 24: Delhi Police on Saturday arrested eight persons blackmarketing tickets for the current India-Australia Test going on at Feroze Shah Kotla grounds, and seized 64 tickets.



Rs 5,700 in cash was also seized.  The blackmarketeers used to sell tickets at exorbitant rates near the ticker counter at Ramlila Maidan.

The going rates in black were: Rs 1000 for Rs 500 ticket, Rs 2000 for Rs 1000 ticket.  With the match entering a crucial stage, the prices are expected to hike in black.
