    How the game went!!

RCB bossed this game. Heartbreak for Delhi yet again. But RCB were pushed on the backfoot early in the match. Shafali and Lanning were going all guns blazing until the 8th over when Molineux went berserk. Her 8th over was the game-changing one. She picked Shafali, Rodrigues and Capsey. Lanning fell to Shreyanka soon and there was hardly anything for them. Radha Yadav and Arundhati somehow managed take them to 113.

RCB were sedate in the start, ticking the scoreboard along the way. DC chipped in with Devine's wicket, Perry came in at 3 and both looked not to take any risks. DC got Mandhana a little late and the required rate reached over 6 at times. But a few boundaries by Perry made it enough for RCB. Ghosh hit the winning runs and RCB have got their hands on the trophy.

There is something in the wicket: Shreyanka Patil

I really enjoyed bowling in the middle. They got a really good start. We kept saying it was matter of one wicket. And when it fell, we said okay another one. We kept fighting till the end. Enjoyed each and every moment so far. There is something in the wicket. I'm a different beast when there's some turn. Playing against MI, I just got a little hairline fracture (on left hand). I missed two matches unfortunately, but credit to physios to put me back on the field. When I saw her, it was amazing to watch her (Molineux) bowl in the nets only.

Last year wasn't the greatest campaign for RCB. (But) the conversation in the last 25 days has always been around we are enjoying each other's company, are really focussed on the process, training well. So doesn't change anything. We are not changing anything overnight because it is a final.

We knew how dangerous Smriti could be: Meg Lanning

Whenever we (Australian team) came up against India, we always used to talk about Smriti and how we could get her out early - because we knew how dangerous she could be. She is a proven match-winner in any condition. She's on her own leadership journey as well, going through ups and downs, and it sounds like Smriti is really starting to understand the ins and outs of that, and has done an excellent job with RCB this year.
