St. George's, Feb 23 : West Indies crushed Zimbabwe by 156 runs to win the first ODI here on Friday, with man of the match Johnson Charles scoring a second consecutive ton (130 runs).
Darren Bravo made his maiden ton in limited overs and remained unbeaten, as the West Indies team made 337 for 4 after being put in to bat.
In reply, Zimbabwe made 181 for the loss of 9 wickets, with Sunil Narine getting 3 wickets for 28 runs.
Johnson Charles had scored a century against Australia only two weeks ago, and this was his second consecutive ton.
He faced 113 deliveries and raced to his century with 12 fours and four sixes.
The 2nd and 3rd ODI will be played on Sunday and Tuesday.
