New Delhi: Pakistan's legendary and former leg spinner Abdul Qadir shown his confidence on Saeed Ajmal that he will be cleared from his suspected illegal bowling action. The off-spinner was also reported in 2009 while delivering his doosra but was later cleared.

ICC had earlier asked the off-spinner to undergo a testing process within 21 days but permitted him to continue bowling in international cricket during this period until the results of the testing are known.

Qadir also believes that ICC should ease the rules regarding bowling actions used by the spinners. Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq backing his off spinner, also said that they are not really worried about Ajmal's case and they know he will be freed clear.

Match officials reported Ajmal to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for a suspect bowling action following the first test defeat by Sri Lanka in Galle but is permitted to bowl until his bowling is scrutinized further.

36 year old, Saeed Ajmal has 174 wickets in 34 test matches and 182 wickets 110 ODIs. He is ranked no. 1 in ODI bowler rankings while in tests he sits at no. 8 position.
