Newly-wed Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma invite PM Modi for grand reception in Delhi, see pics

Newly wedded duo Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 20 and have invited the Prime Minister for their first reception on December 21 in New Delhi. The twitter handle of PIB India released a statement "Captain of the Indian cricket team @imVkohli and noted actor @AnushkaSharma met PM this evening to extend Wedding Reception Invitation. The Prime Minister congratulated them on their wedding".

Kohli and Anushka met PM Modi at his residence and have invited him for their reception which will be held on December 21 (tomorrow) in New Delhi. The Prime Minister of India congratulated the duo on their wedding. 

Virat and Anushka landed in New Delhi last night to get the receptions going. The Indian cricket skipper and Bollywood actress got married on December 12 in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The duo will hold two receptions which will be hosted in New Delhi on December 21 and in Mumbai on the 26th. The reception on the 26th will be held for the Bollywood stars and cricketers as celebrations are in order for getting hitched. The Men in Blue taking on Sri Lanka in a three-match T20I series, the last of the year and will then travel to South Africa. Kohli was rested for the remainder of the Sri Lanka tour after leading India to victory in the three-match Test series where India won 1-0 (two matches drawn). The duo visited Rome and Switzerland after tying the knot.

Kohli will be back in action in January when Team India travel to South Africa to play three Test, six ODIs and three T20Is.
