Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and injured all-rounder Hardik Pandya were seen having some fun at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding reception on Saturday in Mumbai.

Dhoni was also accompanied by his wife Sakshi on the red carpet as the trio posed for pictures in front of the shutterbugs.

Now Dhoni is a witty man and as the paparazzi kept asking him and Hardik to look left, right and centre for the perfect capture, Sakshi left the frame and left the two all to themselves. Seeing this, at first Dhoni looked a bit surprised but he was quick to react and extended his arms for Hardik to grab and he obliged as the two clicked some pictures before moving on.

Dhoni and Pandya are both currently off international duty as India are playing in Australia and Dhoni has retired from the longest format of the game. Pandya on the other hand, is recovering from back injury that he picked up during the Asia Cup in UAE.

He was left out of the T20 and Test squads for India's tour of Australia and is eyeing a comeback in the ODI series starting on January 12 in Sydney. Dhoni is also expected to return to the ODI side for the three-match series after being left out of the T20 squad for the three-match series against West Indies and Australia.

And the duo have been making most of their free time as they have been seen together in a few occasions including Sakshi's birthday and the latest being the grand wedding reception in Mumbai.

Apart from them, Sachin Tendulkar also attended the wedding ceremony along with his family on Saturday.

This was the third wedding reception that the star couple threw after their grand wedding last month near Lake Como in Italy. Their wedding was a private affair and was only attended by very close friends and family as the two carried out the ceremony in Konkani and Sindhi traditions near the picturesque lake in north of Italy.

After returning to India, they threw two receptions with the first one being in Bengaluru and the second one in Mumbai. The third and final one was for the Bollywood industry and other friends, which took place on Saturday.

They are now expected to settle in Ranveer's home in Mumbai before moving into their new house that they brought together.
