The Indian skipper is all set to lead the Men in Blue in World Cup starting from May 30 in England and right now he is in Goa for a much-needed break after a tiring Indian Premier League 2019 season.

Kohli didn't have a good season this year as his team Royal Challengers Bangalore finished last on the points table with 13 points but his passion to play in the Indian jersey in unmatchable.

India have already announced their 15-man World Cup squad and much talked about the omission in the team is flamboyant wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. Selector preferred experience Dinesh Karthik over young Pant for the big-ticket event.

Recently in an interview with Times of India, Kohli gave his opinion on DK selection over Pant in the World Cup team, "In pressure situations, he's shown composure. It was something that everybody on board was convinced about. He has the experience. If god forbid, something happens to MS (Dhoni), Karthik can be immensely valuable behind the wickets. As a finisher, he's done well."
