Team India's Kedar Jadhav will board the flight to England as he has been declared fit to play in the upcoming 2019 ICC World Cup which begins May 30. Jadhav suffered a shoulder injury during the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League during a clash between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab.

Taking no risks from thereon, Jadhav has recovered under the watchful eye of Team India physio Patrick Farhart, who has submitted Jadhav's report to the BCCI, according to The Times of India.

The duo checked into a hotel in Mumbai and after a few training sessions, the all-rounder passed fitness test conducted by Farhart at MCA's BKC facility on Thursday morning.

"Kedar's injury was not a serious one and he has fully recovered now. All 15 players who were picked in the squad are travelling to UK," a team source said.

Jadhav missed CSK's remaining matches as the MS Dhoni-led side reached the finals but lost to arch-rivals Mumbai Indians as the Rohit Sharma side clinched a record fourth IPL trophy.

Jadhav has amassed 1174 runs in 59 ODIs played with a strike rate of 102.53, having made his 50-over debut against Sri Lanka in 2014. The all-rounder has been an integral part of India's squad in recent times, shouldering responsibility in the middle-order along with former skipper MS Dhoni.
