India's Test-specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara started the year on a high note, sharing the news that he along with his wife Puja Pabari are ready to welcome a baby in the new year 2018.
"We're expecting our little bundle of joy this year. May the coming year be as blessed and happy for everyone as it'll be for us," Pujara tweeted on Monday.
Pujara and Puja tied the knot in a private affair in 2013. Puja, a management graduate, belongs to Gujarat's Jamnagar district.
The 29-year-old Rajkot batsman is currently preparing for the three-match Test series against South Africa, starting on January 5 in Cape Town.
So far, Pujara has scored 4396 runs for India in 54 Test matches with 14 centuries and 16 half-tons.
