Indian cricket fans on Monday fondly remembered the ninth anniversary of Yuvraj Singh's 'historic' innings against England during ICC World T20 2007.

Nine years ago on September 19, 2007, the star left-hander had hit 6 sixes in six balls off Stuart Broad at Kingsmead during the India-England match of the first ICC World Twenty20 championship in South Africa.

The World Cup hero is best remembered every year on this day for his remarkable feat and yesterday was no different. Yuvi’s victory was celebrated by fans all over the world.

But unlike every year, our superstar cricketer was not happy this time around.

Yuvi took to social micro-blogging site Twitter, to share the reason why he was not in any mood for celebration.

Reliving the moment of six sixes will always be special to me but what makes me angry and sad is the life of our soldiers #UriAttacks salute, he wrote.

Terror struck an Army camp in North Kashmir's Uri town when militants stormed a battalion headquarters in the wee hours on Sunday, killing 18 soldiers.
