Vadodara: BJP candidate Ranjanben Bhatt has won Vadodara Lok Sabha by-poll by a margin of over 328000 votes.
Ranjanben Bhatt has defeated Congress nominee from Vadodara Lok Sabha seat .
By-polls were held in Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency after Prime Minister Narendra Modi vacated this seat after choosing to retain Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 45.30 per cent polling has been registered in the LS constituency.
Vadodara by-poll was seen as a test of Modi's popularity in the constituency after he took over as the Prime MInister of the country.
Bypolls were held for one Lok Sabha and nine Assembly seats in the state on September 13.
