Sushma Swaraj retains Vidisha seat by over four lakh votes

Bhopal: Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today retained her Vidisha Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh by a margin of 4,10,698 votes.The BJP veteran defeated brother of Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh and former MP

In another setback to Congress, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's close confidante and sitting MP, Meenakshi Natarajan lost polls from Mandsaur seat.  BJP's Sudhir Gupta defeated Natarajan by a margin of 3,03,649 votes.

Gupta secured 6,98,335 votes while Nataraja managed to get 3,94,686 votes.

Similarly, Dr Bhagirath Prasad, who joined BJP a day after getting Congress nomination from Bhind seat defeated Imarti Devi (Congress) by a margin of 1,59,961 votes. Prasad got 4,04,474 votes while Imarti secured 2,44,513.

From Khargone Lok Sabha seat, BJP's Subash Patel defeated Ramesh Patel (Congress) by a margin of 2,57,879 votes. Subhash secured 6,49,354 votes while Ramesh managed to get 3,91,475 votes.
