He also mentioned the Food Bill and Land Acquisition Bill, and said: "Like the right to employment given through MNREGA, we are giving the right to cheap foodgrains, and four times the market rates for land acquired from farmers".

He reminded of a Congress slogan during Indira Gandhi's time "aadhi roti khayenge, Congress ko layenge" (we will eat half a roti, and bring Congress to power).

"Now our slogan has changed. It is 'poori roti khayenge, Congress ko layenge' (We will eat a full roti, and bring Congress to power).
