Sources said, Priyanka Vadra raised two issues at the meeting; (a) to revamp the party structure and (b) to pave the way to project Rahul Gandhi as the Congress prime ministerial candidate at the AICC session in Delhi on January 17.
Sources revealed that some party general secretaries may be relieved and several Union ministers will be inducted into the party to revamp the organisation.
Senior ministers including Kapil Sibal, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Jairam Ramesh, Oscar Fernandes, Anand Sharma, Salman Khurshid and R P N Singh may be asked to take up responsibility in the party.
