Jyotiraditya blames Atal, Sushma for backwardness of Vidisha

Raisen (MP): Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today said Vidisha-Raisen region in Madhya Pradesh remained backward despite it being represented earlier by then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.Scindia also alleged that Leader of Opposition in Lok



Promising development of the region, Scindia said the survey of Raisen-Sagar railway line has been completed and “I will ensure railway connectivity to people of the area”, he said.

Addressing the rally, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kamal Nath alleged that under BJP rule mining mafia has become emboldened to the extent they “totally emptied the river bed of Narmada river and Chambal by illegally excavating sand”.

Taking a dig at Chouhan, Nath said the Chief Minister was a “champion of announcements”. “During last five years, he (Chouhan) has made 7,000 announcements out of which the fate of 6,000 is not yet known,” he said.

Leader of the Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Ajay Singh said Chouhan was an “escapist” and lacked courage to face the no-confidence motion which had been brought by Congress on floor of the House.

Congress general secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Prakash, state unit president Kantilal Bhuria and former Union minister Suresh Pachouri also spoke.

A similar rally was addressed by Congress leaders in Betul.
