Bhubaneswar: Controversial author and activist Arundhati Roy has asked voters not to fall into the trap of either Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi.
Speaking to reporters here on Sunday on the sidelines of an event, Roy said : "I don't think we should fall into trap of Modi or Rahul. Indulging in poll predictions will be a self fulfilling prophecy and disrespect to people."
Roy said, options before the people are wide open in an age of coalition.
The author, a known activist with pro-Maoist leanings, said, the country was experiencing corporate governance. "Instead of discussing who should be the Prime Minister, we should talk which company will come -- Tata or Reliance."
The Booker-winner author said: "Narendra Modi is unlikely to become the prime minister, while Rahul Gandhi is also inexperienced. Moreover, it is difficult to predict as to who will be the Prime Minister."
