New Delhi: The chorus for bringing Priyanka Gandhi to the forefront of Congress is getting louder day after day.
The Congress workers, who are feeling dejected in the aftermath of the decimation of the party in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, are now clamouring for Priyanka to play a more active role in the decision making process of the party. In fact, they want her to join Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in leading the grand old party.
Congress spokesperson Shobha Ojha today publically stated this in party's press conference. She said that Congress workers are of the opinion that Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi should jointly lead the party.
Shobha's statement is not surprising given the fact that the rank and file of Congress party now increasingly believes that Rahul Gandhi is not serious about politics and it's time for Priyanka to start playing more active role in the party.
