New Delhi: After a grand victory, the Aam Aadmi Party is all set to form the government in Delhi. For this the party has submitted a list of proposed council of ministers to the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.

Arvind Kejriwal will be sworn in as chief minister on Saturday, but he is already at work. As part of his ongoing effort to build a working relationship between the Delhi Government and the Centre, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning along with Manish Sisodia who is tipped to be Deputy Chief Minister. He also met a couple of senior central ministers and brought up the key AAP agenda of full statehood for Delhi.

However, Sisodia later told reporters that the Prime Minister would not be attending the swearing-in ceremony of the Delhi Chief Minister on Saturday. Also, he said, Mr. Modi assured them that he would look into the demand for Delhi statehood.

Manish Sisodia, MLA from Patparganj, is likely to be appointed the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. Sources also said that Sisodia, who triumphed over his former colleague Vinod Kumar Binny by a margin of over 28,000 votes, will be given additional charge of Education, PWD and Revenue.

Other AAP members who are likely to be inducted into Kejriwal's cabinet are Satendra Jain, Gopal Rai, Jitender Tomar, Asim Ahmed Khan and Sandeep Kumar.

Ram Niwas Goal will be appointed as the Legistalive Assembly Speaker and Vandana Kumari as Deputy Speaker.

Kejriwal reached out to residents through an FM radio ad released late on Tuesday and invited them to the Ramlila Maidan, the same place he had taken oath in December 2013.

Aam Aadmi Party won 67 of the 70 seats yesterday and Kejriwal was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party. He met Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung at his official residence yesterday.
